3. Septology — 2019–2021 (English trans. 2020–2022)
The major work. Seven novels published in three volumes in English: The Other Name (I–II), I Is Another (III–V), A New Name (VI–VII). Asle, a Norwegian painter and Catholic convert, reflects on his life and art in a single unbroken stream of consciousness. One sentence that runs for the entire length of each volume.
